List-r is passion project when I was mucking around with ReactJS.
I am a great consumer of “memes” and one time I was conversing with a friend and an idea of making a list-based memes generator.
I was experimenting and implementing Material UI for React and I had the intention of developing the backend API (to be able save and share to friends) assuming there was enough interest generated upon showing it to peers. I was planning to give the function to save it and at the same time generate a short link (think something like bit.ly) so it becomes very easy to share and consume in social networks.
Unfortunately after limited search for a loosely-describable “product/market fit”, the project didn’t generate much interest and so I deferred putting more hours to it (specifically the backend) and just moved on with other projects.
